Cuz life's GREEN and HOT

Text

The key now is to take all as it comes, be nothing related to trouble, to assist if possible.

I hope and pray with all my heart that its not my time to turn independent, even so to be someone’s dependent just yet, but if need be, I’m ready.

Its hard not to worry, but how to proceed if you’re unwilling to let go of the familiar, and thrust yourself into the unknown? Its the future, and its going to happen. Its quite funny that I heard that quote from an episode of HIMYM, but its true.

Childish I may be, a failure at many, but when it comes to responsibility, I’ll take it. I’m scared, I’ll tear, but I’ll never run away.

For I know all under Him is provided for. :)

WOOHOO. overdue, BUT YAY. I FINALLY PASSED MY DRIVING TEST!

And what makes me awesome is. I STILL STRIKE CURB. :D (idk what is this worth smiling about, but… yay?)

HEE. And that’s my childhood dream FULFILLED. AHH YEAHHH BABYY. and about time too, I spent almost 2k on this. Really, its REALLY a childhood dream. I’ll be honest and admit that I dreamt of being a taxi driver too when I was much much younger, hehe.

I. LOVE. DRIVING. :D

PS: all this will not be possible without my instructor! I remembered when I asked him whether I could take the test the first time round, he told me I would fail but still let me take anyway (and really, I failed lol.) SOO YEAH, HE’S REALLY AWESOME, and if you’re residing in the west, and dread those fierce, nonchalant, money-always-on-my-mind kind of instructor, WINSTON’S THE GUY YOU SHOULD GO FOR. PLUS he has a kickass Lancer which is quite the L-plate car you’ll want. :) Cheerio guys!

under WANG roof. :D

Went for my first eastern boarding today, and just right it was a night ops! So en route, we managed to catch some of the beautiful landscapes from the perspective of the southern strait off mainland, just as the sun was setting, and the night lights were coming up -absolutely stunning, take my word for it.

Really, if I had commissioned, this would be something I would probably look forward to, during the night patrols… Reminds you lika true patriot what you’re defending, haha! :)

Ah well. Just glad I’m able to see them once in a while; makes you treasure every trip made there… (But of course, still in moderation please!)

And oh boy, treasure it I did, judging from the soreness of my neck. I was facing mainland throughout the hour plus journey back to base. Mr Stiff Neck’s screaming for a neck massage. :(

“WHEN I SAY I WILL LAUNCH MY TAEPONGBONG 2, I WILL.”

Didn’t we all have those little boy dreams of becoming a Supreme Leader once upon a time? :)

Missiles and guns, all exciting then. Then comes off the safety nets, and you see, war isn’t exactly that awesome after all. The many plannings, training… and if pressed to the limits, you’ll reach a climax definitely, and even if you survive alright, will you be able to bear the possible consequences? A mental image which lingers in your mind, creeping out every once in a while.

We all have to grow up sometime in our lives, and our perception of things will change, because life is never that simple. It was, but isn’t.

You thought you’d like it, but when you get the full deal:

EEYER.

Isn’t exactly what you wanted it to be. However, before you give up on it totally - and this I learnt from a friend of mine, and I find highly applicable in life - THINK. Find that element which drives you. Truly, in a complex world like this, the decision to stay on or move on can be that simple.

The element which fuels your desire, will push you towards determination. Fail today? Well, you heard of the numerous success stories in life, and its just cliche to say, DON’T GIVE UP. If its worth it and you know it, happiness is what you’ll have eventually. :)

Never lie to yourself;

FOR. THE. TRUTH. WILL. SET. YOU. FWEEEEEEEEEE. :D

And the beauty of it? Its applicable in all contexts. Find that element. I’ve seen it work in a friend’s relationship, found it working in a fellow midshipman’s naval officer’s career - hell yeah! :)

Seen, heard, experienced, learnt. Life is abundant in lessons, everywhere.

“War over la…”

Alamak.

From today onwards, for standby days, my phone is not going to be just simply off silent mode, nor just on normal mode, but its gonna be on SUPER LOUD-VIBRATION-DOUBLE REPEAT mode.

BIG TWO OLD FOR YOURS TRULY:

An odd yet satisfying dinner in Mac’s, sticky gunfight at the Barrage, massive catching up with old friends, and to sum it up, FINALLY PASSING OUT OF THE TRAINEE PHASE.

*hops around madly around the chair, before settling down once again.*

Its surreal. Because after a whole year and a month, learning, overcoming, pushed down, pick up, and again, its hard to believe that I am actually doing something real - HA.
